How To Fix Minecraft Launcher Installer Not Working
While Minecraft is playable on all kinds of devices but some people have preferences with playing the game on a PC which allows you to access both the Bedrock and Java versions of the game. Before you can play the games, you'll need to first install them onto your hard drive. If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher installer to work here are some tips to fix it.
Sign out and check the date, time, and region
If you're having trouble getting the Minecraft Launcher to install, we first recommend restarting your computer and sign out, then logging returning to the Microsoft Store or the Xbox apps, whichever one you are using to access the launcher. You can now download the launcher with Game Pass since all Minecraft versions are available. To sign out, click your profile icon at the top right of the window and then sign Out.
Also, ensure that your time zone and date are displayed correctly on your computer. If they are not, right-click the date and time in the lower right of your screen, and select to adjust date/time. Make sure Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically are on. Click Sync now under Synchronize your time. Before you exit the Settings Click Region on the left-hand corner of the screen. Make sure that the appropriate region is selected.
Troubleshoot Windows Store, and then, update Windows
Open Settings - click on Update & Security
Click on Troubleshoot and then on Additional troubleshooting.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Windows Store Apps.
Follow this link to reset your computer.
Open Settings and click Update & Security if you haven't updated Windows in a while. MINECRAFT SERVERS Under Windows Update, click Check for update.
Reset the store
If troubleshooting didn't work, we suggest resetting the store. Click on the search bar near the Start button and input wsreset. A black box will appear when you click on the Run command entry. Don't do anything until the box disappears and the store opens up again.
Next step is to start Settings and then click Apps. In the search bar, search for the Microsoft Store. Click it and choose Advanced Options. Scroll down and select Reset. You will need to sign in again.
